زمینه و هدف: احساس حرارتی حسی مستقیم از درجه حرارت هوا نیست، بلکه به چگونگی احساس افراد و تجربه حسی و پدیده روانی مربوط است که می‌تواند بر عملکرد، بهره‌وری، نگرش و احساس رضایت آنان تأثیرگذار باشد. مطالعه حاضر با هدف تعیین احساس حرارتی ذهنی و ارتباط آن با استرس، اضطراب، افسردگی و عملکرد شناختی دانشجویان انجام شد.
روش کار: مطالعه توصیفی – تحلیلی حاضر روی ۱۶۷ نفر از دانشجویان پسر دانشگاه علوم پزشکی اصفهان در فصل زمستان (اواسط دی ماه تا آخر بهمن ماه) سال 1397 انجام شد. احساس حرارتی ذهنی دانشجویان در یک مقیاس هفت نقطه‌ای و دمای محیط و رطوبت در اتاق مربوط به هر دانشجو اندازه‌گیری شد. برای سنجش استرس، اضطراب از پرسشنامه DASS-42 و عملکرد شناختی از دستگاه "Reaction Timer" استفاده شد. داده‌های جمع‌آوری شده نیز با نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه ۲۰ تجزیه و تحلیل شدند.
یافته‌ها: میزان استرس، اضطراب و افسردگی دانشجویان به ترتیب ۴۰، ۴۷/۳ و ۴۱/۳ درصد بود. میانگین دمای محیط خوابگاه C
° ۲۰/۳۲۶، میانگین رطوبت نسبی ۵۶/۷۸ و احساس حرارتی ذهنی ۲۹/۹ درصد دانشجویان از دمای محیط در مقیاس خنثی بود. ارتباط معنی‌داری بین احساس حرارتی ذهنی دانشجویان با استرس، اضطراب و میانگین زمان واکنش تشخیصی، انتخابی رنگ‌ها، انتخابی صداها، تعداد خطاها در بخش تشخیصی و انتخابی صدا به دست آمد.
نتیجه‌گیری: زمانی که احساس حرارتی ذهنی دانشجویان فاقد احساس حرارتی خنثی باشد و در سطوح مختلف احساس گرما یا سرما قرار بگیرد، بر استرس، اضطراب و آزمون های زمان واکنش (زمان واکنش تشخیصی، زمان واکنش تشخیصی رنگ ها و صداها) تأثیر منفی دارد؛ به طوری که استرس، اضطراب، مدت زمان واکنش به محرک ها و تعداد خطاها افزایش می یابد. همچنین احساس ذهنی دانشجویان از دمای محیط اطراف خود به عنوان فاکتوری بسیار مهم و تأثیرگذار به دست آمد؛ زیرا علاوه بر اینکه بر استرس و اضطراب مؤثر بود، بر زمان واکنش تشخیصی و انتخابی آنان نیز تأثیر به سزایی داشت.
