زمینه و هدف: یکی از مهمترین جنبه‎های برقرار تعادل ارگونومی، برقراری تناسب بین محدودیت‎ها و توانمندی‎های انسان با ویژگی‎ها و نیازمندی‎های شغل است. لذا هدف این مطالعه بررسی مشخصات فیزیولوژیک کارکنان خدمات، تأسیسات و انتظامات یک سازمان کاری و تعیین تناسب آن‎ها با مشاغلشان است.
روشکار: 70 نفر از کارکنان با استفاده از پلهِ آزمون کوئینزکالج، تحلیلگر ترکیبات بدن مدل N20، ترازوی SECA، ضربان‎سنج Polar مدل  RS800CX و فرم کوتاه پرسشنامه بین‎المللی فعالیت جسمانی (International Physical Activity Questionnaire: IPAQ) مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفتند. به منظور تحلیل نتایج از آمار توصیفی، مقایسه میانگین‎ها با آزمون ANOVA، بررسی معناداری تفاوت میانگین‎ها با آزمون Tukey و تعیین روابط بین متغیرها با آزمون همبستگی اسپیرمن نرم‎افزار SPSS نسخه 20 استفاده شد.
یافته‎ها:  شاخص توده بدنی (Body Mass Index: BMI) و درصد چربی (Fat percentage: Fat%) در بین کارکنان فراتر از گستره‎های بهینه و نسبت کمر به لگن (Waist to Hip Ratio: WHR) در محدوده مجاز بود. همچنین، میانگین بیشترین اکسیژن مصرفی کارکنان (Maximum Volume of Oxygen consumption: VO2max) mL/kg/min  (42/1)62/33 و میانگین بیشینه ظرفیت کاری (Physical Work Capacity: PWCmax) آن‎ها kcal/min  (46/4) 63/16 بود.
نتیجه‎گیری: نتایج حکایت از نامناسب بودن سطح برخی ترکیبات بدنی، آمادگی جسمانی ضعیف و عدم تناسب بین قابلیت‎های فرد و نیازمندی‎های شغلی دارد. استفاده از آزمون‎های استاندارد استخدام، فراهم‎آوری امکان فعالیت‎های ورزشی (توسط سازمان‎ها) و یافتن شاخصهای تلفیقی که به طور همزمان قابلیت‎های جسمانی-روانی-اجتماعی- محیطی افراد را برای تعیین ظرفیت کاری مدنظر قرار دهد (توسط محققان)، می‎تواند گام‎هایی تسهیل‎کننده برای برقراری تعادل ارگونومیکی در محیط‎های کاری باشند.
