زمینه و هدف: آلودگی صدا یکی از مهم‌ترین عوامل فیزیکی زیان‌آور در محیط‌های کاری در کشورهای توسعه‌یافته و در حال توسعه محسوب می‌شود که اثرات مشهودی بر کیفیت زندگی کارگران می‌گذارد. هدف این پژوهش بررسی اثرات روانی و فیزیولوژیکی ناشی از مواجهه مزمن با صدا است.
روش کار: این پژوهش مقطعی است که بر ۲۵۰ نفر از کارگران صنعت خودرو‌سازی در سال ۱۳۹۷ به صورت تصادفی انجام شد. برای بررسی میزان پرخاشگری و آزردگی افراد در پژوهش از پرسشنامه باس و پری و آزردگی استفاده شد. همچنین فشار‌خون با استفاده از فشار‌سنج جیوه‌ای ALPK۲ اندازه گیری شد. 
یافته‌ها: اختلاف معنی‌داری در میزان فشار‌خون سیستولیک، دیاستولیک و آزردگی صوتی در گروه‌های با تراز فشار صوت کمتر و بیشتر از ۸۵ دسی‌بل وجود دارد (۰/
۰۰۱>P). نتایج رگرسیون چند‌متغیره به‌خوبی نشان می‌دهد که بین میزان آزردگی و تراز فشار صوتی با فشار‌خون کارگران ارتباط معنی‌داری وجود دارد(۰/۰۱>P). همچنین بین مؤلفه‌های پرخاشگری با تراز فشار صوت نیز همبستگی معنی‌داری مشاهده شد (۰/۰۱>P).
نتیجه‌گیری: مواجهه مزمن با صدا در محیط‌های کار با تغییرات روان‌شناختی‏ و فیزیولوژیک، مانند فشار‌خون و سطح پرخاشگری، افراد همراه است و اجرای برنامه‌های پیشگیرانه در کاهش بروز این اختلالات روانی و فیزیولوژیک مؤثر است.
