زمینه و هدف: پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی نقش میانجی خودکارآمدی شغلی در رابطه بین توسعه حرفه ای با رضایت و تعهد شغلی انجام شد.
روش کار: این پژوهش توصیفی- همبستگی از نوع مدل یابی معادلات ساختاری می باشد. جامعه آماری 322 نفر از کارکنان ادارات ورزش و جوانان استان آذربایجان شرقی بود که از میان آنان 203 نفر با استفاده از روش نمونه گیری تصادفی طبقه ای انتخاب شدند که برای تعیین حجم نمونه از جدول کرجسی و مورگان استفاده شد. برای گردآوری داده ها، از پرسشنامه های استاندارد استفاده شد. تحلیل داده ها با استفاده از شاخص های توصیفی و روش مدل یابی معادلات ساختاری تحلیل گردید.
یافته ­ها: بررسی تجزیه و تحلیل آماری نشان داد که بین توسعه حرفه ای با رضایت و تعهد شغلی رابطه مثبت و معنی داری وجود دارد. همچنین نتایج نشان داد که بین خود کارآمدی با رضایت و تعهد شغلی رابطه مثبت و معنی دار وجود دارد بیشترین میزان همبستگی معنی دار به رابطه بین توسعه حرفه ای با رضایت شغلی و کمترین میزان همبستگی معنی دار به رابطه بین توسعه حرفه ای و خودکارآمدی مربوط می شود. علاوه برای این نتایج نشان داد که نقش میانجی خودکارآمدی شغلی در رابطه توسعه حرفه ای با رضایت و تعهد شغلی تائید می شود.
نتیجه گیری: با توجه به یافته­ ها می­توان نتیجه گرفته که توسعه حرفه ای به طور مستقیم باعث ارتقاء رضایت و تعهد شغلی می شود. همچنین با تایید نقش خودکارآمدی شغلی، توسعه حرفه ای  دارای اثر غیر­مستقیم، مثبت و معنی ­دار بر رضایت و تعهد شغلی می­ باشد.
