زمینه و هدف: مساله رفتارهای ایمن بخصوص در مشاغل سخت و زیان­آور، از اساسی­ترین موضوعات پیش روی صنایع تولیدی در کشورهای در حال توسعه است. تحقیق حاضر بدنبال بررسی عناصر اثرگذار بر بروز رفتارهای ایمن از سوی کارکنان شاغل در مشاغل سخت و زیان­آور صنایع تولیدی در استان گیلان است.
روش ­کار: تحقیق حاضر از نظر روش، توصیفی و از نظر هدف، کاربردی است. جامعه آماری تحقیق شامل: کارکنان دارای مشاغل سخت و زیان­آور در بخش ریخته­گری و پرس صنایع تولیدی استان گیلان است که به دلیل عدم دسترسی و کدگذاری عناصر جامعه آماری، بر اساس جدول مورگان، تعداد 384 نفر به روش غیراحتمالی به­عنوان نمونه آماری انتخاب شدند و داده­های لازم با استفاده از پرسشنامه جمع­آوری گردید. پس از تایید روایی (محتوی) و پایایی پرسشنامه و توصیف متغیرهای آن با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS ، فرضیه­های تحقیق بر اساس روش مدلسازی معادلات ساختاری و  نرم­افزار LISREL 8.5 آزمون گردیدند.
یافته­ ها: نتایج نشان می­دهند که تاثیر اقدامات سیستم مدیریت ایمنی بر پذیرش و انگیزه ایمنی؛ رهبری اخلاقی بر پذیرش و مشارکت ایمنی؛ خودکارآمدی بر انگیزه و پذیرش ایمنی؛ و انگیزه ایمنی بر پذیرش و مشارکت ایمنی مورد تایید قرار گرفت؛ ولی فرضیات تاثیر اقدامات سیستم مدیریت ایمنی بر مشارکت ایمنی، خودکارآمدی بر مشارکت ایمنی و رهبری اخلاقی بر پذیرش ایمنی، تایید نشدند. بعلاوه، نتایج نشان می­دهند که متغیرهای مدل، 8/68 درصد از تغییرات رفتارهای ایمنی را تبیین می­کنند.
نتیجه گیری: خودکارآمدی دارای بیشترین تاثیر غیرمستقیم بر رفتار ایمنی (پذیرش ایمنی و مشارکت ایمنی) است که هر دو این اثرگذاری­ها بواسطه انگیزه ایمنی صورت می­گیرد. بنابراین، تقویت خودکارآمدی موجب بروز بیشتر رفتارهای ایمن می­گردد.
