زمینه و هدف: غالب پژوهش‌های انجام‌شده پیرامون استرس شغلی بر طراحی مداخلاتی مثل مدیریت استرس پرداخته‌اند و از نقش عوامل روانی اجتماعی محیط کار بر بروز استرس شغلی غفلت ورزیده‌اند. هدف از پژوهش حاضر بررسی نقش حمایت سازمانی ادراک‌شده در رابطه میان استرس شغلی با پیامدهای سلامت در کارکنان یعنی نرخ حوادث گزارش شده بود.
روش کار: 211 نفر از کارکنان شرکت ذوب‌آهن اصفهان به روش تصادفی طبقه‌ای انتخاب و پرسش‌نامه‌هایی را درباره خصوصیات دموگرافی، استرس شغلی، نرخ حوادث گزارش‌شده و حمایت سازمانی ادراک‌شده کامل کردند. داده‌های جمع‌آوری‌شده از طریق شاخص‌های توصیفی و تحلیل رگرسیون چندگانه با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخۀ 18 تجزیه‌وتحلیل شدند.
یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد که بین متغیرهای حمایت سازمانی ادراک‌شده، استرش شغلی و نرخ حوادث گزارش‌شده رابطۀ معنی‌داری وجود دارد (05/0P<). همچنین نتایج تحلیل رگرسیون سلسله‌مراتبی نشان داد که حمایت سازمانی ادراک‌شده رابطه بین استرس شغلی و نرخ حوادث گزارش‌شده را تا حدودی تعدیل کرد (05/0P<).
نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج پژوهش حاضر حاکی از این است که حمایت سازمانی ادراک‌شده می‌تواند رابطه بین استرس شغلی و درگیرشدن در حوادث کاری را تعدیل کند و در نتیجه کارکنان کمتر درگیر رفتارهای مخاطره‌آمیز و حوادثِ ناشی از استرس شغلی می‌شوند.
